Lijia received her Ph.D. in 2009 from Chinese Academy of Sciences supervised by Dr. Jun Wang. She joined Dr. Kevin White’s lab in 2010 with broad interests on identifying regulatory elements involved in development and evolution. She’s been working on modENCODE and ENCODE projects focusing on integrative analysis of large scale ChIP-seq/RNA-seq data in Fly and Human, and identification of nuclear receptor network in MCF7 cell line. Currently, she’s woking on follow-up projects to further explore enhancer activities under the context of chromatin states and long range interaction between genomic elements.
